Michael Rockman Recognized at Lafayette's All-College Honors Convocation

Michael Rockman of Chapel Hill was honored by Lafayette College for academic excellence at the annual All-College Honors Convocation. Awards and prizes were presented to 129 students in all four of Lafayette's academic divisions -- engineering, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.
Michael, Class of 2015 Excel Scholar, a graduate of Chapel Hill Senior High School, received the Carl J. Staska Prize, awarded each year to students who have demonstrated a degree of proficiency in chemical laboratory skills by the Department of Chemistry.
Lia Mandaglio Parifax '08, managing director of a global advisory firm specializing in LGBT talent and business development, served as keynote speaker.
