John Jarboe Recognized at Lafayette's All-College Honors Convocation

John Jarboe of Cincinnati was honored by Lafayette College for academic excellence at the annual All-College Honors Convocation. Awards and prizes were presented to 129 students in all four of Lafayette's academic divisions -- engineering, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.

John, Class of 2016 Excel Scholar, Marquis Scholar, a graduate of Anderson Senior High School, received the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Donald F. Othmer Award, given to the junior majoring in chemical engineering who has attained the highest grade point average during his/her first two years by the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.

Lia Mandaglio Parifax '08, managing director of a global advisory firm specializing in LGBT talent and business development, served as keynote speaker.
