Jeremy Schwed Graduates from Lafayette College

Jeremy Schwed of Ithaca, N.Y. graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. and earned a bachelor of science degree in physics .

Commencement speaker, the Honorable Portia Simpson Miller, prime minister of Jamaica, was awarded an honorary Doctor of Public Service degree. She delivered her address titled "Balancing the Books While Balancing People's Lives" on the campus Quad to family and friends.

President Alison Byerly conferred degrees upon the graduates and delivered farewell remarks.

Lafayette is a top liberal arts college with 2,400 students and 215 full-time faculty that offers a wide variety of undergraduate degree programs including engineering.
