Carolyn Byington of Basking Ridge, NJ graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. and earned a bachelor of arts in international affairs/anthropology and sociology (double major) .
Erik Weihenmayer, world renowned blind adventurer, author, and filmmaker was the principal speaker.
"What if adversity weren't the enemy, but the pathway, the pathway to change?" asked Weihenmayer in his speech. "The light within you is stronger than the barriers in your way...Commit to nurturing that light."
President Alison Byerly conferred degrees upon the graduates and delivered farewell remarks.
